Recent Club Events

The club organises outings throughout the year to varied sites of interest. Often these are organised at relatively short notice dependant on weather, availability of minibus drivers, etc.. Some of the recent visits are shown below – additional pictures, etc. may appear on the club’s facebook page.

Saturday & Sunday 21st & 22nd September 2019 – Hosted “Railways on the Air”. This Radio Station is run by the Southgate Amateur Radio Club. They will be pleased to show you how it works. HMRC had models running as support through both days.

May & August 2019 Club Shows (at home!)

This year the weather was kinder to us than last! Both shows were well attended and enjoyed by both visitors and exhibitors. Pictures from both appear in the individual sections gallery pages.

March 2019 – Club Open Weekend

An open weekend was held to showcase the activities of the club. This was generously supported by Councillor Mark Mills-Bishop. Fortunately the weather was kind, the visitors appreciated our efforts and our members enjoyed themselves.
