Saturday 21st – Sunday 22nd September (10:00-16:00), we are hosting Southgate Amateur Radio Club for Railways on the Air. Admission free. Find out about amateur radio and see some of the clubs models running throughout both days.

We are a club for modellers of all types!

Railways for gauges from ‘N’ through to 5″ gauge.

as well as model boats and r/c road vehicles, Scalextrix & a fairground!

The club has its own premises offering a range of facilities

For railways indoors ‘N’ and ’00’ gauge layouts & outdoors ‘O’, ‘G’, 2.5″ and 5″ gauge.

For boats an onsite boating pool, plus access to the nearby river.

For r/c road vehicles & tanks, there’s a large outdoor road layout.

About Us

We hold shows in April/May and August, are open to visitors on Sunday mornings and also take part in local shows.

We have visits to model railway exhibitions and preserved steam railways. Other favourite events include Fish and Chip Suppers and  the annual Christmas Dinner.

Need help with a model? The club has experienced model makers and engineers who are sure to be able to help with modelling problems.

We have over sixty members but new members are welcome. To find out more get in touch and we will be only too pleased to show you round. Each section has a team leader who will be happy to show you what the section does and introduce you to people.
