Hoddesdon Model & Railway Club frequently attends model railway and other local shows, to share our members interest in Railways and modelling in general. Our members are glad, when able, to support local charities and good causes by attending such shows.
Over a number of years the club has maintained links with the CHIPS Playschemes organisation. On a monthly basis we offer the children participating in the scheme the opportunity to visit our club grounds and clubhouse, to see a variety of trains and models being operated, and where possible actively try running some themselves.
